The Adventure Tourism workshop is targeted to anyone interested in starting and expanding an adventure tourism business in Southwest Virginia. Outdoor recreation is the fastest-growing aspect of tourism throughout Southwest Virginia and the world and this workshop outlines the opportunities within the region, best practices and steps required to launch a successful adventure tourism business. Participants will hear from existing business owners and professionals providing updates on tourism development planned and underway in the region, along with a roadmap to launching, marketing and financing a business.
