Outdoor recreation is one of the fastest-growing aspects of tourism throughout Southwest Virginia, East Tennessee, and the world. Our next Noon Knowledge Session will be held on March 20 at NOON; we will explore the opportunities within the region, best practices, and steps required to launch a successful adventure tourism business. It will also include an overview of the recent Cumberland Plateau Outdoor Economy Plan, highlighting the region’s opportunities. This session targets anyone interested in starting and expanding an adventure tourism business in Southwest Virginia. We also recommend business owners who want to explore ways to tap into this growing market for sales growth.
