The morning session will focus on the steps to starting a business in Virginia. Learn about the types of license and registration needed, review the types of business entities to determine the best direction for your plans, business management strategies, how and why to develop a business plan, review how to seek financing and options available, technologies options to do more for less to manage your business, and more tips.

The second session will focus on various marketing strategies to grow your business to include public relations, advertising, how to develop a marketing plan and calendar, various social media channels to connect to your target market, mobile marketing options and customer service to keep customers coming back.
